ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) The Texas Rangers have traded outfielder Daniel Robertson to the Los Angeles Angels for a player to be named or cash.
The deal was announced Thursday.
The 29-year-old Robertson made his major league debut last season and hit .271 with 21 RBIs in 70 games with Texas. He also was a solid defensive player in the outfield.
Robertson began the season in the minors with San Diego and was acquired by the Rangers in late April.
