The Texas Rangers have surpassed 1.5 million in attendance with their franchise-record 22nd sellout of the season.

With an announced crowd of 45,407 for Sunday night's game against Colorado, the Rangers have a total home attendance of 1,532,530 in 35 dates. It is the fastest the team has reached that mark.

In 1994, the strike-shortened season that Rangers Ballpark opened, the Rangers reached 1.5 million in home attendance in the 39th home date.

Two-time defending American League champion Texas is on pace to exceed more than 3 million in attendance for the first time in team history.
