Pujols okay after leg tweak, will be used carefully in Toronto

The Los Angeles Angles surely don't need Albert Pujols to miss any time, considering their offensive issues thus far in 2015.
Thankfully, after coming up a bit lame on Sunday afternoon on a slide into second base, the slugger doesn't seem to have done anything serious to his left leg.
As Jeff Fletcher of the O.C. Register reported, Albert said he was fine - and actually, "...Pujols didn’t even have any ice on his left knee or foot, only his surgically repaired right knee."
With the Halos heading to the Rogers Centre in Toronto for a four-game set with the Blue Jays beginning on Monday, manager Mike Scioscia said the plan is to use Pujols as designated hitter for a few games in the series since "The reviews on the new turf have not been great."
Artificial turf can be dangerous for players with leg issues, so it makes sense for the Angels to tread carefully with a player as important to their success as Pujols.
