Pirates fan OK after celebratory leap

If the Pirates can get to the playoffs and win a game for the first time in 21 years, the least a Pittsburgh fan can do is jump 78 feet into chilly water for his team.
That questionable line of reasoning may or may not have been what led one Pittsburgh fan to “do a Peter Pan” (that’s a "Fugitive" reference from the year after the last time the Pirates made the playoffs) off the Roberto Clemente Bridge in Pittsburgh.
This was after the Bucs beat the Cincinnati Reds 6-2 in Tuesday night's wild-card game.

We can think of better — and safer — ways to try to inspire your team, but we're happy that the jumper seems no worse for the wear after a dangerous stunt.
