Baltimore Orioles left fielder Felix Pie is out of the starting lineup due to a left rotator cuff strain.
Pie was scratched from Wednesday night's game against Tampa Bay, and says he doesn't expect to play on Thursday. The outfielder felt discomfort in the shoulder during Tuesday night's 4-3 loss to the Rays.
Nolan Reimold, coming back from left Achilles' tendon surgery last September, replaced Pie.
The Orioles also announced that infielder Robert Andino cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Norfolk.
