The Padres have optioned reliever Miles Mikolas to Triple-A Tucson and recalled right-hander Nick Vincent from their top farm club.
The team announced the moves Monday before playing the Houston Astros.
Mikolas made 15 appearances for San Diego, going 1-1 with a 3.86 ERA. The right-hander began the season with Tucson before making his debut for the Padres on May 5 in Miami.
