Left fielder Carlos Quentin has left the San Diego Padres' game against the St. Louis Cardinals with a sore right knee.
Quentin was removed in the fourth inning Monday night.
Quentin started his second straight game after missing three of San Diego's previous five games with right knee irritation. Quentin had surgery on the same knee in March and was on the disabled list until May 28.
