SAN DIEGO (AP) Rookie Alex Dickerson's two-out, three-run double in the eighth inning lifted the San Diego Padres past the Arizona Diamondbacks 9-8 on Thursday night.
Dickerson smacked Enrique Burgos' pitch into the gap in left-center field to snap the Padres' five-game losing streak.
Michael Bourn's soft single drove in pinch-hitter Rickie Weeks in the top of the eighth put Arizona ahead after it rallied from a three-run deficit.
