Orioles to pay employees for games missed during unrest in city

Orioles owner Peter Angelos could have taken the easy way out after the team postponed two games, played another in front of no fans and moved three other games to Tampa because of the unrest in Baltimore.
Those adjustments cost the franchise millions in lost revenue, but Angelos will not let that affect how he treats his employees, who will be paid for those games as if they worked them.

The games were moved from Camden Yards to Tropicana Field earlier this month after violence broke out in Baltimore following the funeral of Freddie Gray, who died in police custody after suffering a spinal cord injury.
