Marlins call up LHP Narveson, send down LHP Reed

MIAMI (AP) The Miami Marlins have called up lefty Chris Narveson from the minors and send lefty Chris Reed to Triple-A New Orleans.

The move came before Wednesday night's game against the New York Mets.

Narveson last played in the majors on April 6, 2013, with the Milwaukee Brewers.

Reed pitched two games for Miami after being called up this month, giving up two runs and six hits in four innings.
