LEADING OFF: Chris Sale to throw bullpen for White Sox

A look at what's happening around spring training in Florida and Arizona today:
---
BIG SALE
White Sox ace Chris Sale, who broke a bone in his right foot last month, is scheduled for a bullpen session. The left-hander is expected to miss the start of the season, but could return around the middle of April.
ORIOLES RETURN
Baltimore returns to the field after Monday's off day, with Ubaldo Jimenez getting the start against Pittsburgh. The right-hander went 6-9 with a 4.81 ERA in 25 games, 22 starts, for the Orioles last year.
PROSPECT ALERT
Andrew Heaney tries to get back on track when he takes the mound for the Los Angeles Angels against Texas in Arizona. The left-hander, acquired in an offseason trade with the Dodgers for second baseman Howie Kendrick, is competing for a spot in the rotation, but has struggled so far this spring.
NOW PITCHING FOR THE GIANTS
Ryan Vogelsong starts for San Francisco against Cleveland, and fellow right-hander Matt Cain will pitch in a minor league game. Vogelsong was 8-13 with a 4.00 ERA in 32 starts for the World Series champions last year, and Cain is coming back from elbow surgery.
