Jays' Estrada comes off 15-day DL to face Red Sox
TORONTO (AP) Right-hander Marco Estrada is coming off the 15-day disabled list to make his season debut against the Boston Red Sox.
Estrada was limited to two starts during spring training because of a sore lower back.
To make room for Estrada on Sunday, left-hander Franklin Morales was placed on the disabled list, retroactive to April 7, with shoulder fatigue.
Estrada signed a two-year, $26 million contract to remain with Toronto last November after winning a career-high 13 games in his debut season with the Blue Jays. His 3.13 ERA was also a career-best.
Estrada was 2-1 with a 6.10 ERA in three games - including two starts - against Boston last season.
Morales signed a non-guaranteed contract with Toronto on April 2. He was unable to get loose while warming up in the bullpen Friday. He has no record in two appearances.
