The Cleveland Indians have optioned right-hander Jeanmar Gomez to Triple-A Columbus.
Gomez went 0-1 with a 4.91 ERA in four starts since being recalled from the Clippers. The team is expected to fill Gomez's roster spot on Tuesday before opening a three-game series against Tampa Bay.
The Indians have won 13 straight at Progressive Field since dropping their first two home games against the Chicago White Sox. Cleveland, which leads the AL Central by 4 1/2 games, hasn't been 13-2 at home since 1941, and the Indians have never been 14-2 to start a season at home.
Cleveland has won 18 of its last 20 home games against Tampa Bay since 2005.
