Indians' Kazmir pushed back in rotation

Scott Kazmir has been pushed back in the Cleveland rotation following a rough start.

Kazmir allowed five runs in the first inning Friday night in a 5-2 loss to the Los Angeles Angels. He pitched three innings and said after the game that he had a ''dead arm.''

Indians manager Terry Francona said Kazmir would be moved back at least a couple of days. Francona didn't give a specific date when Kazmir would start again.

Carlos Carrasco will start in Kazmir's place on Wednesday against Minnesota. He pitched five scoreless innings in relief Friday.

Kazmir is 7-5 with a 4.18 ERA. He has made 21 starts after not pitching in the majors last season.

Cleveland starter Corey Kluber was put on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday with a sprained right middle finger and will miss four to six weeks.
