The Milwaukee Brewers reinstated outfielder Carlos Gomez from the 15-day disabled list Sunday.
They had optioned infielder Brooks Conrad to Triple-A Nashville after Saturday's game.
Gomez injured his left hamstring running to first base on a routine fly ball in the game between the Brewers and the Giants in San Francisco on May 4.
Noted for his full-tilt approach to playing, Gomez already had been on the 15-day disabled list three times. In 2010, he was on it with a strained left rotator cuff and a concussion. In 2011, it was for a fractured left collarbone.

Conrad appeared in 12 games, including four starts, since he being promoted May 4 from the Sounds. He batted .400 at Nashville, but was 0 for 21 with Milwaukee.
