Giants lefty Moore pitching no-hitter through 6 vs Dodgers

LOS ANGELES (AP) Matt Moore of the San Francisco Giants is pitching a no-hitter through six innings against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Moore had thrown 73 pitches Thursday night at Dodger Stadium, striking out five and walking one. The Giants led 4-0.

The 27-year-old lefty is seeking his first win since being traded from Tampa Bay to the Giants earlier this month. He was 0-3 in his first four starts for San Francisco.

The Giants began the day three games behind the NL West-leading Dodgers.
