Double-A pitcher to take Jackson's spot

The Arizona Diamondbacks will reach down to Double-A Mobile to get a fill-in starter Wednesday for Edwin Jackson, who's getting two extra days of rest after his no-hitter.

Jackson threw 149 pitches in his no-hitter against Tampa Bay last Friday. He is scheduled to make his next start Friday at home against the Dodgers.

The Diamondbacks will use Barry Enright in the series finale at St. Louis. He is 4-1 with a 2.88 ERA in the minors. Manager A.J. Hinch said the 24-year-old Enright, a second-round pick in 2007, was the most deserving candidate and added it didn't hurt that it was also Enright's day to pitch.
