Updated Mar. 4, 2020 8:38 p.m. ET

LOS ANGELES (AP) Yasiel Puig has come off the disabled list for the Los Angeles Dodgers and was in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Washington Nationals.

The Cuban outfielder had been sidelined with a strained left hamstring. He hasn't played in a major league game since June 2 against the Cubs.

Puig went 5 for 12 with a home run, three walks, one steal and two RBI in five rehab games with Class A Rancho Cucamonga. He is batting .237 with five homers and 20 RBI in 53 games with the Dodgers this season.

The Dodgers optioned right-hander Carlos Frias to Triple-A Oklahoma City. He had been recalled Sunday and didn't appear in a game during his call-up.
