Arizona Diamondbacks right fielder Justin Upton left Tuesday night's game against the Florida Marlins after the first inning with tightness in his left hamstring.

Upton singled and scored during the Diamondbacks' five-run first inning but was pulled in favor of Gerardo Parra for the top of the second.

Upton entered the game hitting .271 with nine homers, 47 RBIs and 13 stolen bases for Arizona. He is day-to-day.
