Wilson Ramos lost his bat in the ninth inning of the Nationals win on the road over the Mets Wednesday, and a man in the crowd wearing Montreal Expos gear caught it and gave the bat to a young Nationals fan.
If a bat isn't broken, though, players will sometimes try to get it back. Seconds after receiving his prize, the young fan was approached by a member of security and was asked to give the bat back. He looked crushed.

Fortunately, the story has a happy ending. Bryce Harper gave the fan a replacement, a game-used bat still covered in pine tar.
