PHOENIX (AP) Jace Peterson has been scratched from the Atlanta Braves' lineup due to general soreness a day after crashing into the outfield wall and later hitting a game-ending homer .
Peterson stayed in Sunday's game after running shoulder-first into the wall in center during the third inning to make a catch. He hit a walkoff homer in the 10th inning for a 7-6 victory over the Washington Nationals.
Peterson was initially listed in Monday's lineup against the Arizona Diamondbacks batting seventh and playing second base, but he was replaced by Chase d'Arnaud.
