Braddock to DL with sleeping disorder

The Brewers have placed reliever Zach Braddock on the 15-day disabled list with a sleep disorder, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported Wednesday.

"This is a real thing," said manager Ron Roenicke. "He's been seeing doctors and having testing for 10 days. The testing confirmed it is a sleep disorder."

Braddock was sent to the DL Tuesday after an appearance Monday night in which he allowed a run on one hit and two walks in one-third of an inning against Atlanta.

"It's just a sleep issue that we've had tests on in the past week," Braddock told the paper. "Right now, the baseball schedule isn't conducive to figuring it out. It's the best interests of mine and the team to take some time off and deal with it.
