The POTUS officially fired up a Twitter account on Monday. That’s right, Barack Obama has joined the social media world, where he’ll likely find a pleasant helping of hate 24/7.
"Hello, Twitter! It's Barack. Really!" Obama wrote in his first tweet. "Six years in, they're finally giving me my own account."

It didn’t take long for Obama to upset at least one party, and he didn’t even have to tweet. All he did was simply follow his city’s sports teams, leaving one off his list. The Blackhawks, Bulls, Bears and White Sox all made the presidential cut. The Chicago Cubs, on the other hand are, found themselves forgotten.
"@POTUS We're big fans of America. Just saying. #YouMissedATeam," the Cubs tweeted at Obama.
