A's Crisp to see neck specialist on Thursday, prognosis uncertain

Oakland A's outfielder Coco Crisp will miss some more time after suffering a neck injury in the A's loss to the Houston Astros on Tuesday night.
Crisp injured the neck diving for a ball in the outfield in the second inning and was removed from the game an inning later. He's had a rough go of things this season: due to off-season elbow surgery, he has only appeared in 15 games so far, though he has made a few dazzling defensive plays in left field since returning.
A lingering and nagging neck issue was a problem for Crisp in 2014, limiting him to just 126 games as he battled health issues all season long.
According to John Hickey of Inside Bay Area, Crisp will see a specialist on Thursday:

At the moment it's unclear whether this new neck issue is related to last year's, so the A's will no doubt hope for better results from this specialist.
