Angels-Red Sox postponed by inclement weather

Published Jun. 7, 2013 2:55 p.m. ET

The Red Sox game at Fenway Park against the Los Angeles Angels on Friday night has been postponed because of inclement weather, and the teams will play a doubleheader Saturday.

The game was scheduled to start at 7:10 p.m. EST, but the forecast calls for continued rain showers and inclement weather in the area throughout the day, with heavy rain throughout the evening.

Rain is expected to continue through Saturday morning.

The teams will play a day-night doubleheader. The rescheduled game is set to begin at 1:05 p.m. The second game is scheduled for 7:10 p.m.
