A.J. Reed collides with on-field police officer while chasing foul ball

Being a police officer at the ball park seems mostly like fun.

Sure, you occasionaly have to horse collar and/or apply the People's Elbow to an idiot on the field, but aside from the odd "Benny Hill" run-around, you're watching baseball, chilling and just trying not to get in the way.

But sometimes that last part isn't so simple, as proved by Saturday's collision involving Houston Astros first baseman A.J. Reed and an officer along the first base stands at the Toronto Blue Jays' Rogers Centre.

Reed went to field a Josh Donaldson pop-up and ended up running directly into the officer, who grabbed her stool and tried to flee but somehow ended up running straight at him.

Yeah, not ideal. But everyone was fine! And she laughed it off!

Sometimes you don't know what to do with your hands or feet or body. Happens to all of us.

Dan is on Twitter. You never know when full body confusion will take over.
