Three players in the Atlanta Braves' organization have been suspended 50 games for violating the minor-league drug program.
The penalized players are infielders at Class A Myrtle Beach in the Carolina League. Shortstop Amadeo Zazueta, second baseman Albaro Campusano and first baseman Geraldo Rodriguez, who leads the team with eight home runs and 24 RBIs, each tested positive for an amphetamine.
The suspensions were issued Friday and begin immediately.
