Washington Redskins TE Jordan Reed feels 100 percent, hopes to play all 16 games

For Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed, making plays in the passing game has never been an issue. Reed's struggles with the team stem from his inability to stay on the field.

Reed had a stem cell shot in his knee this offseason, no pun intended, and now he feels healthier than he has in a long time. The treatment was to help him recover from issues to both his knee and hamstring, but Reed has also trudged through problems with his quad.

“I feel 100 percent," Reed said, per the Washington Post. "I’m ready to go. Quad, hamstring, everything’s back to normal.

“I'm excited, man. My goal is to play all 16 games and help this team out.”

If Reed's new-found approach to staying healthy pays off, you can expect big things from him in 2015. In 2013, Reed racked up 11.1 yards per catch while notching 45 receptions for 499 yards and three touchdowns. Last season, he compiled 465 yards on 50 receptions.

Reed has a unique combination of size and lateral agility that allows him to be a mismatch against both linebackers and safeties.

Fantasy football owners will want to get Reed back on their radar. When healthy, Reed has averaged just over 10 fantasy points per game in PPR leagues. He is currently going off the board in the final rounds of most drafts.
