Brown (ankle) didn't practice Thursday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
What Brown -- who logged a limited session Wednesday -- is able to do at Friday's practice will be telling with regard to his status for Sunday's game against the Texans, but for now it's unclear if the wideout's absence from Thursday's practice was simply maintenance-related or indicative of a setback.
Brown (ankle) was limited at practice Wednesday.
Brown popped up on the Ravens' Week 10 injury report Friday but was able to suit up Sunday against the Bengals, parlaying his 18 snaps on offense into four catches for 80 yards and a touchdown. At this stage, there's nothing to suggest that the speedy wideout is in any danger of missing Sunday's game against the Texans, but Brown could end up being limited at practice all week.
Brown caught all four of his targets for 80 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 49-13 win over the Bengals.
The Ravens waisted no time getting Brown the ball Sunday, taking a shot off of play action for a 49-yard gain down the middle of the field on the first play from scrimmage. He later scored his second touchdown in his last three games on a 20-yard pass in the third quarter. The rookie struggled a little after a hot start to the season before taking to the bench with an ankle injury. In the two games since his return, he's averaged 18.3 yards per catch and improved his season average to 16.2 yards per catch. Next up is a Houston defense that has been mediocre against the pass this season.
Brown (ankle/thigh) is officially active for Sunday's game versus the Bengals.
The rookie first-round pick will play through the questionable tag for the fourth time this season. Brown returned to action last week against the Patriots after a two-game absence but played only 57 percent of the offensive snaps. The 22-year-old burst onto the scene with 12 catches for 233 yards and two touchdowns in his first two games, but in his last four contests he has only 12 catches for 141 yards and one touchdown. The matchup against the winless Bengals provides a prime opportunity for Brown to get back on track.
Brown (ankle/thigh) is expected to play Sunday against the Bengals, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The speedy wideout's Week 10 status will be officially confirmed in advance of Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff, but both he and Lamar Jackson (illness) -- who was also listed as questionable for the contest -- are in line to suit up this week. Brown's production has slowed some since two strong games out of the gate this season, as he's averaged three catches over his last four outings since then. That said, the rookie's wheels continually make him a threat to break off the occasional big play.
