Osman contributed 21 points (7-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-5 FT), six assists, four rebounds and one steal across 38 minutes in Monday's 126-119 victory over the Pistons.
On a rebuilding roster, Osman continues to occupy a starting forward role that allots him plenty of chance to develop and grow, which he has shown of late through his 17.6 points per game over his last five contests. Locked into a 30-plus minute role, Osman should continue to provide solid three-category numbers for the foreseeable future.
Osman delivered 22 points (8-16 FG, 6-7 3Pt), four assists and three rebounds across 37 minutes in the Cavaliers' 121-116 loss to the Mavericks on Saturday.
Osman drew even with Kevin Love for second in scoring on the night for the Cavaliers. The second-year wing bounced back to a a more typical level of usage Saturday after taking just eight shot attempts against the Magic on Thursday. The 23-year-old has had a rollercoaster month offensively, but he seems to be hitting his stride by scoring at least 18 points in three of his last four contests. Osman's rebounding has been even more reliable, as he's hauled in six or more boards in seven of his last 10 games.
Osman recorded (18 points (7-19 FG, 4-9 3Pt), eight rebounds, four assists and two steals across 35 minutes during Tuesday's loss to the 76ers.
Osman's tallied 37 points, 15 rebounds, 11 assists and three steals across his past two outings. While the rate of Osman's production isn't likely to continue, the Turkish forward is capable of providing similar lines intermittently. Osman's taken a leap in his second-year in the league and while he continues to struggle with the consistency of his shot, he's parlayed his larger role into career-best averages of 12.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.7 threes.
Osman collected 19 points (6-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 35 minutes in Monday's 126-101 win over the Raptors.
Osman was a scorer, facilitator, and rebounder Monday night, as he continues to post well-rounded stat lines with the starting lineup. After two five-point duds, however, it was nice to see Osman bounce back with a decent shooting night, attacking the basket and finding the open man at will. On the depleted Cavs roster, expect more of the same from Osman in his current role going forward.
Osman finished with 14 points (6-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt), six rebounds, three assists and three steals across 34 minutes in the Cavaliers' win over the Magic on Sunday.
Osman had another respectable stat line in Sunday's win, producing across multiple categories. Remarkably, Sunday marked Osman's seventh straight game with at least two made three-pointers. In those contests, he's been lights out in the shooting department, averaging 16.4 points on 54.5 percent shooting from the field and 54.0 percent from downtown.
