Not so fast frustrated Aggie fans, Kevin Sumlin may not have made a call for change just yet.

According to SEC Country, Sumlin denied reports that his offensive coordinator Jake Spavital would be replaced this offseason during his weekly radio show.

“I’m not going to talk about where that (report) came from,” Sumlin said. “That didn’t come from me… At this point there’s always going to be conjecture… There’s nothing factual about that report.”

Even if a final decision to replace Spavital’s as Texas A&M offensive coordinator has already been made, it’s unlikely Sumlin would admit the move heading into a game week. One thing is certain, the Aggies have got to get more consistent play from the quarterback position down the stretch or it will lose to LSU for the fifth consecutive season.
