As the regular season comes to a close, there may be no better rushing game in the nation outside of the one in Knoxville. Following the huge 53-28 win over rival Vanderbilt Saturday, the Vols have gained 579 rushing yards against two of the better defenses in the SEC over the past two weekends.

While the trio of quarterback Joshua Dobbs and running backs Jalen Hurd and Alvin Kamara get most of the praise for piling up rushing yards, it’s the efforts of the offensive line that make it all possible.

Last week Coleman Thomas was honored as SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week; this week it was time to share the love with his teammate, as Kyler Kerbyson finishes his career inside Neyland Stadium with the league’s weekly individual honor:

Via the SEC’s Week 13 Players of the Week statement:

• Kerbyson helped the Vols to 523 total yards including 331 on the ground. The Vols did not allow a sack for the second week in a row.

• On his Senior Day, Kerbyson helped guide the way for Jalen Hurd's 120 yards along with Alvin Kamara with 99 and Joshua Dobbs with 93.

• The 331 rushing yards were the most by Tennessee vs an SEC team in a non-overtime game since 1994 (406 vs Vanderbilt).

• On the season, Tennessee's 2682 rushing yards are the most by the Vols since 1989.
