Richt celebrates win by visiting five-star QB commit Jacob Eason
Georgia pushed its overall record to 7-3, 5-3 in SEC play, by winning on the road against cross-division rival Auburn. The win marked the Bulldogs’ second conference victory in as many weeks and cools what appeared to be a scorching hot seat for head coach Mark Richt.
So how did the long time UGA coach celebrate the big win? By hopping on a plane and visiting his most promising quarterback commit since a Texan named Matt Stafford pledged to Richt and Georgia in 2005.

Jacob Eason, currently ranked as the No. 2 overall prospect in the nation by 247Sports, was not aware Richt was coming in for the surprise visit.
Despite speculation to the contrary, the Bulldogs’ head coach appears just as committed as ever and if Eason does indeed suit up for the Dawgs next season, Georgia may just go from having a huge question mark at quarterback to having one of the stars of the league.
