Foursomes
INTERNATIONAL 2, UNITED STATES 2
Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele, United States, def. Tom Kim and Si Woo Kim, International, 2 and 1
The Americans atoned for their foursomes loss on Friday by never trailing and handing the Kims their first loss in this Presidents Cup. The Americans took the lead for good on the eighth hole when Tom Kim missed a 3-foot par putt. The Internationals gave away the 11th hole with a double bogey. Si Woo Kim gave his team a late chance with a dynamic tee shot to 4 feet that his partner converted for birdie on the par-3 16th over the water. Schauffele effectively ended it with an approach to 4 feet that Cantlay made on the 17th.
Corey Conners and Nick Taylor, International, def. Jacob Bridgeman and Russell Henley, United States, 1 up
The Canadians gave away the opening three holes with two bogeys and a double bogey. The Americans restored their lead to 3 up with a par on the eighth and a birdie on the par-4 10th. But the Americans gave it right back. The Canadian duo won four of the next five holes with three pars and one birdie that was conceded when Henley and Bridgeman took themselves out of the hole on No. 12. On the 18th, Conners hit a good escape out of the rough, Taylor pitched to 6 feet and Conners rolled in the par putt.
Chris Gotterup and Cameron Young, United States, def. Adam Scott and Sungjae Im, International, 6 and 4
This was a rout from the start when the Internationals took double bogey on the opening hole, Young made a 30-foot eagle on the par-5 third and Gotterup blasted a drive to set up a pitch-and-putt birdie on the short par-4 fourth. They were 3 up and stretched the lead to 5 up through seven holes with two more birdies. The Internationals won only one hole, the par-4 eighth, with a birdie. Gotterup made a 10-foot birdie on the next hole, and then it was a matter of time. The Americans closed them out on the 14th hole, the shortest match of the week.
Ryan Fox and Min Woo Lee, International, def. Sam Burns and Wyndham Clark, United States, 3 and 2
The Internationals started with back-to-back bogeys to quickly fall into a hole. The Americans won only one hole the rest of the way. The Internationals squared the match on the par-3 seventh when Lee made a 25-foot birdie putt. They took their first lead when Burns chipped too strong leading to bogey on No. 8. The match was tied again when Fox hit it to 3 feet for birdie on the par-3 13th, to 8 feet to set up birdie on the 14th and the Americans went bunker-to-rough on the 15th for bogey. The match ended when both teams made par on the 16th.

UNITED STATES 2 1/2, INTERNATIONAL 1 1/2
Min Woo Lee and Sungjae Im, International, halved with Justin Thomas and Jackson Koivun, United States
Koivun came into his own in his second match of his Presidents Cup debut, making a 25-foot birdie putt on No. 8 and hitting his approach to 2 feet for a birdie on No. 11, giving the Americans a 2-up lead in match they controlled from the start. But Lee made a 15-foot birdie on the 15th, and both Americans barely cleared the water on the par-3 16th and made bogeys for the match to fall to all square. On the final hole, Thomas and Koivun were both short of the green, and Im had 45 feet for birdie. Thomas hit a superb chip to a foot, and Im hit a great lag for the first halve of the Presidents Cup.
Tom Kim and Si Woo Kim, International, def. Collin Morikawa and Wyndham Clark, 2 and 1
Morikawa holed a 20-foot birdie putt on the par-3 seventh for a 2-up lead in another match that was painted red for the entire front nine. And then Team Kim came to life. Si Woo Kim birdied from 10 feet on the 11th. Tom Kim matched the U.S. birdie on the 12th and placed a finger to his lips to shush the crowd before the ball even dropped. The Internationals took their first lead when Si Woo Kim made a 12-foot birdie putt on the 16th, and Si Woo Kim made a 17-foot birdie putt on the 17th, winning the match when Morikawa missed from 7 feet.
Chris Gotterup and Cameron Young, United States, def. Corey Conners and Nick Taylor, International, 2 and 1
The Americans looked as if they would end this early when Young birdied the second and drove the par-4 fourth green and made a 30-foot eagle putt. The Canadians won two of three holes around the turn to close the gap to two holes, and then Gotterup took over in a big way. He holed a 50-foot birdie putt on the 14th, only for Taylor to make a 50-footer of his own. Gotterup made a 35-foot birdie on the 15th for a 3-up lead. Taylor answered with a 30-foot birdie on the 16th. Gotterup closed out the match with a 35-foot birdie putt from just off the 17th green.
Scottie Scheffler and Sam Burns, United States, def. Hideki Matsuyama and Ryo Hisatsune, International, 2 and 1
The Americans never trailed but were never more than 1 up through the front nine when suddenly it changed. Matsuyama made a 35-foot birdie on the 10th and a 10-foot birdie on the par-3 13th, giving the Internationals a 1-up lead right as their side was flipping other matches. Scheffler had not contributed much until making a 20-foot birdie putt on the 15th hole to square the match. Burns followed with a 7-iron to 4 feet for birdie to win the 16th and go 1 up, and Burns closed out the match with an approach to 4 feet for birdie on the 17th.
