Fourth in SG: Putting at Truist Burns carded a three-over 73 on Sunday at the Truist Championship to finish five-under and tied for 30th.

Impact Burns was unable to close out his week at The Philly Cricket Club on a high note with a five-over 40 on the back nine of Sunday's final round, but he still ended the Signature Event ranked fourth among the field in SG: Putting en route to 15 total birdies and an eagle. Iron play remains an issue for Burns, but the putter is red hot heading into the PGA Championship.

T5 finish at TPC Craig Ranch Burns closed with a six-under 65 on Sunday to finish in a tie for fifth place at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson.

Impact Burns ranked outside the top-35 in SG: Off-the-Tee, SG: Approach and SG: Around-the-Green, but was fourth in SG: Putting. Outside of the top finishers, the rest of the field was incredibly bunched. Burns made eagle on his 72nd hole to finish T5 at 17-under-par. Had he made par he would have been in a 10-way tie for 15th. It's been a bit of a slow start to the season, but Burns' best finish of 2025 will hopefully help him to gain some confidence going forward. He will tee it up at the Truist Championship next week.

Fourth in SG: OTT at Harbour Town Burns carded a four-under 67 on Sunday at the RBC Heritage to finish 10-under and tied for 13th.

Impact Burns played Sunday's final round in bogey-free fashion at Harbour Town, where he ultimately ranked fourth among the field in SG: Off-the-Tee while also gaining nearly three strokes with the flat stick. He's now gained strokes putting in seven consecutive starts dating back to The Genesis Invitational, but his iron and wedge play remain as concerns.

Third consecutive MC Burns recorded a two-day score of one-over-par to miss the cut at last week's Valero Texas Open by three shots.

Impact Burns' eventful second round at TPC San Antonio included five birdies, but he also tallied four bogeys, one double and a triple on the par-5 18th to end his week early. The putter continues to cooperate for Burns, but he's now missed the cut in three consecutive starts ahead of the upcoming Masters Tournament.

Second straight missed cut Burns recorded a two-day total of three-over at the Valspar Championship to miss the cut by one stroke.

Impact The two-time event champion posted back-to-back over-par rounds at the Copperhead Course, where he was unable to stay out of trouble with 12 bogeys across 36 holes. It was a surprising result considering he gained 4.9 shots putting for the tournament, but he only hit 11-of-26 fairways and less than half of the greens in regulation. It's Burns' second straight missed cut and his third consecutive tournament that he's lost strokes from tee to green.

First MC of season at TPC Sawgrass Burns recorded a two-day score of one-over-par to miss the cut at THE PLAYERS Championship by two shots this past week.

Impact Burns performed well off the tee and with the flat stick, but he managed to lose 4.3 strokes on approach across just 36 holes at TPC Sawgrass. Aside from the WM Phoenix Open, iron play has been a major weak spot in Burns' game this season, descending to 166th on Tour in SG: APP. However, he's 11th in SG: Putting ahead of the upcoming Valspar Championship where he won back-to-back at Innisbrook in 2021 and 2022.

He's now lost at least 1.7 strokes with his irons in four of five starts to begin the 2025 campaign, but Burns is 33rd in the early FedExCup standings with a trio of top-25s.

Sixth in SG: OTT at AT&T Pro-Am Burns carded a one-under 71 on Sunday at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am to finish 10-under and tied for 22nd.

Impact Burns averaged a disappointing 1.92 putts per GIR en route to just two birdies during Sunday's final round at Pebble Beach, but he finished the event ranked sixth among the field in SG: Off-the-Tee and T12 in GIR percentage. However, he's now lost at least 1.7 strokes on approach in each of his first three starts to begin the 2025 campaign. Burns will peg it again this week at the WM Phoenix Open where he placed T3-T6 the past two years.

Impact Burns was coming off an underrated 2024 season and looking for a fast start in 2025. He struggled out of the gate with a 72 in round one, but went 66-66-65 to close and notch sixth straight finish of T14-or-better. Burns ranked fourth at Kapalua in SG: Off-the-Tee and T4 in GIR's. He doesn't appear to be far away from his first victory since the WGC-Match Play back in 2023. Burns is not in the field for the Sony Open in Hawaii next week.
