Hopeful for Ryder Cup selection Burns shot a four-under 66 in the final round to finish in a tie for seventh place at the TOUR Championship. Impact Burns rode another fantastic putting week to a strong T7 finish. He ends the FedExCup season comfortably in first in SG: Putting. It was a slow start to 2025, but Burns certainly got going the second half of the year racking up five top-10s and nine top-20s over his final 14 starts. A big reason for that strong play was his improved accuracy off the tee and strong approach play. Burns certainly has put himself in contention for a Captain's pick for the Ryder Cup, which will be announced on Wednesday.
