Jumps to T7 at The Genesis Young posted a five-under 66 during the final round of The Genesis Invitational to finish tied for seventh.

Impact Young ended the tournament with back-to-back 66 rounds and finished the final round strongly with three consecutive birdies from holes 16 to 18. He co-led the field in GIR, finished T2 in birdies made and ranked in the top-10 in SG: Approach-to-Green, SG: Off-the-Tee and bogeys made. Young has made the cut in each of his four PGA Tour outings this season, but his T7 at Riviera was his first top-10 finish of 2026. He's in the field next week for the Cognizant Classic, where he finished T4 in 2024 before missing the cut in 2025.

Struggles at Pebble Beach Young finished tied for 55th at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am after recording a seven-under cumulative score.

Impact Young's scored worse over the course of the tournament, and he ended things poorly by going three-over across the final four holes with a double bogey, two bogeys and a birdie. He ranked top-25 in the field in SG: Off-the-Tee and SG: Around-the-Green, though he also finished 63rd in both SG: Approach-to-Green and SG: Putting. Young has opened the 2026 PGA Tour season with finishes of T22-T41-T55 and will look for a better outing next week at The Genesis Invitational. He's had a fair amount of success at Riviera Golf Club, having finished T2-T20-T16 from 2022 to 2024.

Impact Young opened the final round with three birdies on the front nine, but his day fell apart after a double bogey on the par-4 sixth. He ranked in the top-30 of the field in driving distance, driving accuracy, SG: Around the Green and SG: Putting, though he finished near the bottom in GIR and SG: Approach to Green. Young has made the cut in each of his two PGA Tour outings this season and is in next week's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, where he finished 70th and 72nd in 2024 and 2025, respectively.

T22 in first start of 2026 Young shot a four-under 68 in the final round to move up into a tie for 22nd place at the Farmers Insurance Open.

Impact Young was making his season debut after he closed the 2025 campaign very strong. He hit the ball pretty well ranking top 25 in SG: Off-the-Tee, SG: Approach, driving accuracy and GIR's. Young lost strokes with the putter, however. That should change as he gets into this season. Last season Young was one of the better putters on Tour. He will be in the field for the WM Phoenix Open next week where he will be looking for his third straight top-12 finish in Scottsdale.
