Another stellar showing as amateur Koivun finished in a share of fourth place after shooting a one-under 71 in the final round of the Procore Championship. Impact Koivun was coming off a strong showing to help the U.S. Team win the Walker Cup at Cypress Point. He really built on that, and a string of strong showings on the PGA Tour over the summer. After rounds of 67-66-68, Koivun found himself in the final pairing on Sunday in Napa with World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler right on his heels. It wasn't Koivun's best showing in the final round, but the experience of being in that position will be invaluable in the future. Finishing T4 will give the Auburn product a spot in the next full-field event in a few weeks at the Sanderson Farms Championship. Koivun has a PGA Tour card whenever he decides to turn pro, but has already announced he will be returning to college for another year of golf in 2025-26.
