Cleared for all golf activities Thomas (back) has been cleared for golf activities, per his personal Instagram account.

Impact Thomas mentioned that he has been practicing and home and is working to build his strength and stamina back to be able to compete on the PGA Tour. Thomas has been reportedly targeting a return at the Cognizant Classic (Feb. 26-March 1), which would make sense considering that the tournament takes place near his current residence. Thomas will be eligible to take part in all the Signature Events and major championships in 2026.

Return aimed for Cognizant Classic Thomas (back) is aiming to return Feb. 26 for the Cognizant Classic, ESPN.com reports.

Impact Thomas is still recovering from back surgery, and though another month may be needed, he is making great progress. Hitting wedges and short irons before the month of February, Thomas is looking to make a competitive return during the PGA's Florida swing, which starts with the Cognizant Classic and ends with the Players Championship in March.
