Crumbles to T65 at The Open
Thomas carded a six-over 76 in the final round of The Open Championship to finish tied with Peter Uihlein for 65th.
Impact
Thomas' final round was the second-worst score of the tournament behind Alex Fitzpatrick and Nico Echavarria, both of whom posted seven-over 77s. Thomas was particularly bad on the back nine of the final round with a double bogey on the 11th and three bogeys over his final four holes. He was actually fairly accurate off the tee Sunday, connecting on 57.1 percent of fairways, but most of his struggles came on the green, as he lost 3.22 strokes with his putter. It was the worst major performance of the season for Thomas, who also finished T41 at The Masters, T4 at the PGA Championship and T17 at the U.S. Open. He's not in the field for the 3M Open next week.

T50 at Genesis Scottish Open
Thomas carded a three-over 73 on Sunday at the Genesis Scottish Open to finish two-under and tied for 50th.
Impact
Thomas ranked just 70th of 71 in SG: Approach during Sunday's final round at The Renaissance Club, making a triple bogey on the par-4 fourth hole in the process. Nonetheless, he ultimately gained a collective 3.67 strokes on and around the greens in North Berwick, converting 18 of 25 total scrambling opportunities as well. Thomas' streak of seven consecutive top-25s from the Cadillac Championship through the Travelers Championship comes to an end, but he'll tee it up again this week at The Open Championship.

SG: Around leader at Travelers
Thomas finished T14 at the Travelers Championship after posting a 14-under cumulative score.
Impact
Thomas' short game was on full display, gaining 6.26 strokes around the green to lead the field in that category. He also finished the tournament T8 in driving accuracy and T12 in birdies, though he ranked 56th out of the 72-man field in SG: Approach, losing 2.62 strokes in that category. Thomas has cracked the top-20 in each of his last six tournaments, including T4 at the PGA Championship and T17 at last week's U.S. Open. His next outing will take place in two weeks at the Genesis Scottish Open, where he finished T22 last year after going MC-T60-T62 from 2022 to 2024.

T17 finish at the U.S. Open
Thomas carded a one-under par 69 Sunday in the final round of the U.S. Open to finish in a tie for 17th place.
Impact
Thomas through the first two rounds of the U.S. Open was right in contention on winning his first U.S. Open as he posted two impressive rounds of 71-68. Entering the third round at one-under par, Thomas quickly felt the pain of Shinnecock Hills and the difficult conditions on Saturday as he opened his third round with three straighr bogeys. While an eagle on the par 5 fifth helped his score, Thomas continued to face struggles on the back nine as he finished with a five-over 75. A one-under par 69 on Sunday helped Thomas collect an impressive top-20, but Thomas was left wondering what could have been without the disappointing Saturday round. Still Thomas had lots to be happy about with his game, especially his putting, as he ranked 12th in SG: Putting for the week. Thomas will head to TPC River Highlands next for the Travelers Championship.

Surges to top-20 with Sunday 65
Thomas fired a seven-under 65 in the final round of the Memorial Tournament to finish tied with Aaron Rai and Keegan Bradley for 19th.
Impact
Thomas barely made the five-over cut after rounds of 74-75, but he surged 17 spots up the leaderboard Sunday thanks to a spectacular final round that included a four-under back nine. He led the field at Muirfield in SG: Around-the-Green, gaining 6.15 strokes in that category, though he lost strokes both with his irons and putter. Thomas has finished in the top-20 in each of his last four tournaments and has some momentum behind him heading into the U.S. Open in two weeks time. He has missed the cut in each of his last three outings at the major and finished T25 in 2018, the last time that the U.S. Open was hosted by Shinnecock Hills Golf Club.

T13 at Charles Schwab Challenge
Thomas posted an eight-under cumulative score at the Charles Schwab Challenge to finish tied with Jordan Smith and Hideki Matsuyama for 13th.
Impact
Thomas entered Colonial Country Club off the heels of a T4 finish at the PGA Championship two weeks ago, his best performance since his T2 at the 2025 Truist Championship. He shot under par in each round, with back-to-back, three-under 67 scores Friday and Saturday, though he couldn't make a late surge into the top-10 on Sunday. Thomas finished the tournament fourth in SG: Off-the-Tee, T11 in both GIR and driving accuracy and in the top-20 in both SG: Approach and Around-the-Green, though he also ranked outside the top-50 in both driving distance and SG: Putting. Thomas has finished in the top-15 in each of his last three outings and in four of nine tournaments this season. Up next is the Memorial Tournament, where Thomas has made the cut in seven of 11 previous outings and finished T31 in 2025.
