Share of 10th at PGA Championship Gotterup posted a three-under cumulative score at the PGA Championship to finish in a four-way tie for 10th.

Impact Gotterup's best round at Aronomink was his five-under 65 score Friday, when he birdied each of the final three holes of the round. He couldn't take advantage of the easier pin placements Saturday, ending the day with a one-over 71 that essentially dropped him out of contention for his first major victory. Gotterup ended the tournament third in SG: Off-the-Tee (including third in driving distance), T4 in bogeys, T16 in GIR and top-30 in SG: Approach and Putting, though he also ranked 62nd in SG: Around-the-Green. It was Gotterup's fourth top-10 finish of the 2026 season and first since the Houston Open in late March. He'll have at least one week off, as he's not listed in the field for THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson.

Short-game struggles at Truist Gotterup posted a seven-under cumulative score at the Truist Championship to finish tied with Min Woo Lee and Nick Taylor for 14th.

Impact Gotterup did most of his work up the leaderboard Saturday with a six-under 65 score that included a six-under front nine and four-straight birdies from holes six to nine. He ranked T7 in birdies, eighth in SG: Putting, 13th in driving distance and T14 in GIR, though he lost strokes off the tee and around the green while finishing T66 in driving accuracy. It wasn't the greatest performance from Gotterup, but it was still his best finish since his T6 at the Texas Children's Houston Open, though his form has dipped since his early-season victories at the Sony Open and WM Phoenix Open. He'll make his second career appearance at the PGA Championship next week; he missed the cut in his debut at the major in 2024.

Impact Gotterup was even through the first two rounds but ended the tournament on a high note with a six-under 65 score. It was one of the lower rounds of the day, and he may have benefited from the earlier tee time before the wind picked up at Harbour Town. Gotterup gained 3.45 strokes Off-the-Tee, which was fourth best in the field, and he also ranked 16th in driving distance, T18 in GIR and in the top-30 in SG: Approach and driving accuracy. His short game is what ultimately let him down, as he finished 77th in the 82-man field in SG: Around-the-Green, losing 3.68 strokes in that category. Gotterup has finished in the top-25 in seven of nine tournaments this season, though he's cooled off since his victories at the Sony Open and WM Phoenix Open. He's not in the field for the Zurich Classic next week.
