Withdraws from Doral
Cantlay (undisclosed) has withdrawn from the Cadillac Championship, Rob Bolton of PGATour.com reports.
Impact
Cantlay had been on a good run with three consecutive top-15 finishes but will be unable to tee-it-up at Doral for an undisclosed reason. Michael Thorbjornsen will take his spot in the field. Cantlay's next opportunity to play will be at the Truist Championship, scheduled for May 7-10.

Share of eighth at Harbour Town
Cantlay recorded a one-over 72 in the final round of the RBC Heritage to finish tied for eighth with Kurt Kitayama, Gary Woodland and Rickie Fowler.
Impact
Cantlay found himself near the top of the leaderboard with a 12-under cumulative score through the first three rounds, with his bogey-free, seven-under 64 score Friday being his best of the tournament. He struggled in the windy conditions Sunday, and despite a bogey on the 18th hole, Cantlay still held onto his spot in the top-10. He has five top-15s in nine tournaments this season and has finished T7-T12-T8 over his last three outings. He won't participate in next week's Zurich Classic but should be in the field for the next Signature Event, the Cadillac Classic, which kicks off April 30.

Punches ticket to Augusta in 2027
Cantlay posted a five-under cumulative score at The Masters to finish tied for 12th.
Impact
Cantlay had a poor start to The Masters with a five-over 77 score in the first round, but he managed to make it to the weekend after a bogey-free, five-under 67 score Friday. He followed that up with a bogey-free, six-under 66 on Saturday, and while he wasn't able to carry that momentum into the final round, Cantlay's top-12 finish was enough for him to earn a spot at Augusta National in 2027. He led the field in SG: Around-the-Green while ranking third in scrambling, seventh in SG: Approach and ninth in SG: Tee-to-Green, though he finished near the bottom in both SG: Putting and SG: Off-the-Tee. Cantlay will tee off at the RBC Heritage next week, and he's enjoyed plenty of prior success at Harbour Town. Not only has he made the cut in seven of eight appearances at the Heritage, he has finished in the top-10 in six of those outings, including four third-place finishes and a playoff loss to Jordan Spieth in 2022. Cantlay finished T13 in last year's event.

Share of seventh at Valspar
Cantlay posted a four-under 67 in the final round of the Valspar Championship to finish in a four-way tie for seventh.
Impact
Cantlay posted under-par rounds in three of four days, with his Sunday score -- capped off with a birdie on the par-4 18th -- being his best of the tournament. He carded just 12 birdies for the tournament (T50), and while he struggled with his accuracy off the tee, Cantlay ranked T10 in the field in GIR, 14th in SG: Putting and in the top-30 in SG: Off-the-Tee and SG: Approach. It was the first top-10 finish of the PGA Tour season for Cantlay and best performance since his T2 at the TOUR Championship in August. He is not listed in the field for the Texas Children's Houston Open next week.

Misses cut at Bay Hill
Cantlay recorded a two-day total of four-over par at the Arnold Palmer Invitational to miss the cut by two strokes.
Impact
After posting an under-par opening round, Cantlay carded five bogeys and failed to make a birdie in the second round to miss the weekend. He lost over two shots to the field in SG: Approach and putting and only went 4-for-12 scrambling. Cantlay has now missed two cuts through five starts this year and is still in search of his first top-10.

Loses 4.25 strokes putting Sunday
Cantlay carded a two-over 73 on Sunday at The Genesis Invitational to finish four-under and tied for 37th.
Impact
Cantlay's closing 73 beat only two other players Sunday, and he lost 4.25 strokes putting in the final round alone to ultimately rank 43rd of 51 in this category for the week. However, Cantlay has now gained at least 1.52 strokes from tee to green in each of his first four starts of the 2026 season. He'll likely make his next tournament appearance at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, where he's placed T31-T36-T4 in three prior trips to Bay Hill.

Surges with Sunday 65
Cantlay fired a final round seven-under 65 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am to finish in a share of 14th place.
Impact
Although Cantlay was never in contention, that didn't stop him from saving his best for Sunday with a bogey-free 65 that included five birdies and an eagle. He led the field in SG: Approach in the final round and ranked third for the tournament in GIR. It's Cantlay's third top-15 across three starts this year as he builds momentum for next week's The Genesis Invitational, where he has back-to-back top-5 finishes at Riviera Country Club.

Share of 13th at American Express
Cantlay carded a three-under 69 during the final round at The American Express to finish tied for 13th.
Impact
Cantlay started the tournament strongly with a nine-under 63 opening round that included six birdies on the back nine. He wasn't able to keep that momentum up over the final three days of the event, but it was enough for the American to crack the top-15 at a PGA Tour event for the third time in his last five outings. Cantlay's performance in La Quinta was enough for him to climb up one spot to 26th in the OWGR going into the Farmers Insurance Open next week.
