T20 at 3M Open Kim carded a five-under 66 in the final round of the 3M Open to finish in a four-way share of 20th.
Impact Kim did most of his movement up the leaderboard over the weekend with scores of 67-66. He lost 2.21 strokes with his putter, ranked 53rd out of the 66 players that made the cut at TPC Twin Cities, though he also ranked 10th in scrambling, 12th in SG: Around, T16 in driving accuracy and 20th in SG: Approach. Kim is 34th in the FedEXCup Standings with 1,139 points, 800 of which came from his victory at the Genesis Scottish Open (500) and solo third at the U.S. Open (300). He's not in the field for the Rocket Classic next week.

Fades late to miss cut at The Open Kim posted a three-over 73 in the final round of The Open Championship to miss the cut by two strokes.
Impact Kim opened the tournament with an even-par 70 in the first round. He was above the one-over cut line heading into the final stretch of the second round, but the Scottish Open winner proceeded to card bogeys on three of his last five holes, including the 18th, to barely miss the cut. Kim's iron play at Royal Birkdale was strong, as he gained 1.92 strokes in that category (eighth in the field), but it was his performance on the tee box that let him down, as he ranked 145th in SG: Off-the-Tee while connecting on 46.4 percent of fairways. It's a bit of a let down from Kim, who was riding high from his strong outing last week at The Renaissance Club. He'll take at least one week off, as he's not listed in the field for next week's 3M Open.

Wins Genesis Scottish Open Kim posted a 17-under cumulative score at the Genesis Scottish Open to win the tournament by two strokes over Min Woo Lee.
Impact It's the fourth PGA Tour victory of Kim's career and first since the 2023 Shriners Children's Open. He spent most of the tournament at the top of the leaderboard thanks to his five-under 65 opening round and entered Sunday in the top-5. Kim saved his best round for last, steadily carding birdies en route to a bogey-free, six-under 64 to leap the likes of Robert MacIntyre and Matt Fitzpatrick to the top of the table. Kim's short game really stood out, converting on 12 of 13 scrambling opportunities to lead the field at The Renaissance Club, which minimized his mistakes (his three bogeys were the lowest of the tournament). His iron game was also superb, as he finished second in the field in SG: Approach, gaining 8.13 strokes in that category. He also ranked T2 in GIR, ninth in SG: Off-the-Tee, T11 in birdies made and in the top-20 in both driving accuracy and SG: Putting. Kim has the wind behind his sails heading into The Open Championship next week, where he finished T2 in 2023 before missing the cut in each of the last two years.

Tied for 46th at John Deere Classic Kim posted a nine-under cumulative score at the John Deere Classic to finish tied for 46th.
Impact Kim saw his score progressively get worse over the course of the tournament, finishing with a 67-68-69-71 scorecard. He ranked T6 in driving accuracy, seventh in SG: Approach and T15 in GIR, but he also ranked 60th in SG: Around and 67th in SG: Putting, losing 1.02 and 2.24 strokes in those categories, respectively. Kim has only four top-25 finishes across 16 tournaments this season, though that includes a solo third at the U.S. Open two weeks ago. He'll tee off next week at the Genesis Scottish Open, where he's finished third-T6-T15-T17 since debuting at the event in 2022.

Solo third at U.S. Open Kim carded an even-par 70 in the final round of the U.S. Open and finished in solo third place on Sunday.
Impact Kim showed very little form at all this season, but you would have never been able to guess that with how he played this week at Shinnecock. Kim just hung around all tournament and was waiting in the wings should Wyndham Clark fall back to the field. Kim gained strokes across the board and had some brilliant saves throughout the tournament. While he will probably be disappointed with how things turned out, especially after a clutch birdie on the par-5 16th, Kim has to be pleased with what he saw from his game under pressure on a very difficult course. This solo third finish will get him into both the Masters and the U.S. Open next year. Kim also moves up to 64th in the OWGR.
