Nonetheless, Kim averaged four birdies per round and he tallied just seven total bogeys across 72 holes in Atlanta.

Advances to East Lake Kim fired a two-under 68 on Sunday at the BMW Championship to finish three-under and tied for 28th.

Impact Kim opened his week at Bellerive Country Club with an adventurous two-over 72 that included four bogeys and a pair of doubles to six birdies, ultimately making 94 ft. 11in. of putts Thursday. He finished the event ranked T15 among the field in GIR and 10th in Birdie or Better percentage, despite losing 1.73 strokes from tee to green. Sneaking into the TOUR Championship at 29th in the FedExCup standings, Kim will peg it again this week at East Lake.

Fails to capitalize on Saturday 63 Kim registered a five-under cumulative score at the FedEx St. Jude Championship to finish in a seven-way share of 12th.

Impact Kim vaulted himself into the top-10 of the leaderboard following a seven-under 63 third round, when he carded six consecutive birdies from holes two to seven before gaining one more stroke on the back nine. He couldn't replicate that kind of success in the final round, though his efforts Saturday were enough for him to finish in the top-15 for a second consecutive week. He's 26th in the FedExCup Standings heading into the BMW Championship, and he would qualify for the TOUR Championship if he can maintain his spot in the top-30 after next week. Kim ranked second in the field at TPC Southwind with 21 birdies made, as well as T6 in driving accuracy, 12th in SG: Around, T18 in GIR and 20th in SG: Putting.

T5 at Wyndham Kim posted a 15-under cumulative score at the Wyndham Championship to finish tied with Harry Hall for fifth.

Impact Kim was one shot back of Michael Brennan and Beau Hossler for the 54-hole lead after a bogey-free, seven-under 63 third round. Kim was two-under on the front nine of the final round, but his hopes of a second PGA Tour victory this season were dashed by a double bogey on the par-4 11th and a bogey on the 14th. Kim finished the tournament eighth in SG: Putting, gaining 6.33 strokes in that category, as well as T10 in both driving accuracy and GIR and 13th in SG: Approach, though he also ranked 62nd in SG: Around. It was the second top-5 finish of the season for Kim, with his first being a victory at the Genesis Scottish Open in July. That has him 26th in the FedExCup Standings heading into the first tournament of the playoffs, the St. Jude Championship, next week. Kim finished T50 in his last appearance at TPC Southwind in 2024.

T20 at 3M Open Kim carded a five-under 66 in the final round of the 3M Open to finish in a four-way share of 20th.

Impact Kim did most of his movement up the leaderboard over the weekend with scores of 67-66. He lost 2.21 strokes with his putter, ranked 53rd out of the 66 players that made the cut at TPC Twin Cities, though he also ranked 10th in scrambling, 12th in SG: Around, T16 in driving accuracy and 20th in SG: Approach. Kim is 34th in the FedEXCup Standings with 1,139 points, 800 of which came from his victory at the Genesis Scottish Open (500) and solo third at the U.S. Open (300). He's not in the field for the Rocket Classic next week.

Fades late to miss cut at The Open Kim posted a three-over 73 in the final round of The Open Championship to miss the cut by two strokes.

Impact Kim opened the tournament with an even-par 70 in the first round. He was above the one-over cut line heading into the final stretch of the second round, but the Scottish Open winner proceeded to card bogeys on three of his last five holes, including the 18th, to barely miss the cut. Kim's iron play at Royal Birkdale was strong, as he gained 1.92 strokes in that category (eighth in the field), but it was his performance on the tee box that let him down, as he ranked 145th in SG: Off-the-Tee while connecting on 46.4 percent of fairways. It's a bit of a let down from Kim, who was riding high from his strong outing last week at The Renaissance Club. He'll take at least one week off, as he's not listed in the field for next week's 3M Open.
