Drops out of top-25 at Aronimink Matsuyama registered an even-par cumulative score at the PGA Championship to finish tied for 26th.

Impact Matsuyama posted a 70-67-71 scorecard over the first three days of the major. He was in the top-10 after going two-under through the first six holes of the final round but proceeded to drop four shots over the final 12 holes, logging six bogeys to just two birdies over that span. It was a disappointing way to end the tournament for Matsuyama, who finished T61 in driving accuracy, 67th in SG: Off-the-Tee and T75 in GIR. He has finished T53-71-T26 in his last three tournaments since his T12 at The Masters. Matsuyama is not in the field for THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson next week.

Impact Only Tom Hoge (13-over) finished worse at Quail Hollow than Matsuyama, the latter of whom ended his final round with back-to-back double bogeys. Matsuyama has finished T53-71 over his last two outings since his T12 performance at The Masters. He'll look to turn things around this week at the PGA Championship, where he's made the cut in 12 of 13 appearances (though he missed the cut last year, which also took place at Quail Hollow).
