Tyson Barrie - Helpers keep comingBarrie notched a second-period assist in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Sharks.

ImpactNow with four helpers in his last four games, Barrie is off to a nice start with the Preds, playing primarily on the team's second defensive pairing. Although Barrie has yet to notch any points on the power play, he's currently averaging a healthy 3:57 on the man advantage, which bodes well for his PP production going forward. Keep him rolling.

ImpactKnyzhov is picking up meaningful ice time (19:33 through four games) while Jacob MacDonald tends to an undisclosed injury, plus the former is averaging 0:52 on the power play. A powerful defenseman listed at 6-foot-3 and 222 pounds, Knyzhov is someone to keep an eye on in case he ends up carving out a larger role, but for now, he's merely a depth option.

ImpactFabbro is situated in a top-four role early this season, but he lacks power-play utility as well as the type of offensive firepower that fantasy managers require. The helper was Fabbro's first point through five games, and the 2016 first-round draft pick is averaging just one shot per contest. He's asked to fill a defensive role while skating on a pairing with the highly productive Roman Josi, who dropped 155 points over the last two seasons alone.

ImpactThe Preds dominated in this one, but Ferraro at least helped Team Teal spoil goaltender Juuse Saros' shutout bid with his primary assist in the third period. Still, fantasy managers likely won't take the bait on Ferraro's services, as this was his first point through five games, and the top-pairing defenseman has yet to reach the 20-point mark in any season. More of a shutdown type of player, Ferraro has committed to six hits with 16 blocked shots this season.
