Eric Robinson - Acquired by SabresRobinson was traded to Buffalo from Columbus on Wednesday, Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News reports.
ImpactRobinson has a goal, 19 hits and three blocks in seven contests with Columbus this season. He's expected to join the Sabres in Boston ahead of Thursday's contest against the Bruins, per Lysowski. The Sabres will likely use Robinson in a bottom-six capacity.

Ville Husso - Slated to start ThursdayHusso is expected to start at home against San Jose on Thursday, according to Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press.
ImpactHusso has an 8-4-1 record, 3.47 GAA and .891 save percentage in 13 appearances this season. He stopped 26 of 30 shots in a 5-4 overtime victory over Montreal in his last start Saturday. San Jose has a league-worst 2.00 goals per game this year, but the Sharks have been effective lately, scoring 16 goals over their last three contests.

Patrick Kane - Ready to make season debut ThursdayKane (hip) is expected to make his season debut Thursday versus San Jose.
ImpactKane signed a one-year, $2.75 million contract with the Red Wings on Nov. 28. It's not yet confirmed how Detroit will utilize him Thursday, but it wouldn't be surprising to see the 35-year-old play alongside his former Blackhawks linemate Alex DeBrincat and also serve on the first power-play unit. Kane had 21 goals and 57 points in 73 contests between Chicago and the Rangers last season.
