Benoit-Olivier Groulx - Playing more, but little offenseGroulx has gone 12 games without a point.

ImpactGroulx was scratch in six of seven games from Oct. 26-Nov. 10, but he's sat out just twice since. Despite the more consistent playing time, he's not generating much offense while playing in the Ducks' bottom six. The 23-year-old has just one assist to go with 14 shots on net, 32 hits, 10 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 18 contests. He could lose his place in the lineup once Mason McTavish (upper body), Trevor Zegras (lower body) and Max Jones (upper body) return.

Jackson LaCombe - Stuck in skidLaCombe has not registered a point in his last 17 games.

ImpactLaCombe had a solid three assists over his first eight outings, but he's since gone ice cold on offense. He also has a minus-19 rating during his drought. He's been a healthy scratch only once this season, but if his performance remains poor at both ends of the ice, he may find himself in the press box more often. Urho Vaakanainen and Tristan Luneau are also candidates to be scratched as the Ducks navigate the growth of several young blueliners this season.

ImpactJohnston was a regular in the lineup over the first month of the campaign while the Ducks were waiting for Alex Killorn and Brock McGinn to come back from injury. Through the first 19 games of the year, the 24-year-old winger has put up 14 points and needs just 11 more to match his career-best total from last season.

Lukas Dostal - Suffers defeat ThursdayDostal stopped 24 of 25 shots against the Blackhawks on Thursday but was saddled with a 1-0 defeat.

ImpactDostal is winless in his last four contests while posting a 5.91 GAA and .825 save percentage. While the previous three losses could be laid at the feet of Dostal, especially when he gave up eight goals to the Avalanche, he certainly wasn't to blame versus Chicago. John Gibson should continue to see the majority of the workload moving forward, especially with Dostal continuing to underwhelm.

ImpactIt was a stellar performance from Mrazek, who had gone 1-5-0 with an unsightly .863 save percentage over his previous six starts. It's Mrazek's first shutout of the season, as he improves to 6-8-0 with a .907 save percentage. The Blackhawks are back in action Saturday at home versus the Blues.
