LeBron James and wife Savannah reportedly welcome new baby
NBA superstar LeBron James and wife Savannah have welcomed a new baby into their home, according to multiple reports.
Baby Zhuri, the couple's first girl and third child, was born last week at a hospital in their hometown of Akron, Ohio, TMZ reports.
LeBron has cited family as a big part of the reason for his return to Cleveland this past offseason.
In his now famous essay announcing his return to the Cavaliers, James talked about raising his family in Akron.
"I always believed that I'd return to Cleveland and finish my career there. I just didn't know when. After the season, free agency wasn't even a thought. But I have two boys and my wife, Savannah, is pregnant with a girl. I started thinking about what it would be like to raise my family in my hometown. I looked at other teams, but I wasn't going to leave Miami for anywhere except Cleveland. The more time passed, the more it felt right. This is what makes me happy."
Earlier this fall, his older son LeBron James Jr., -- aka "Bronny" -- made headlines by making a one-handed halfcourt shot during Cavaliers practice and drawing the attention of Ohio State's Thad Matta.
James will make his official return to Cleveland on Thursday during the Cavaliers home opener against the New York Knicks.
