Miami Dolphins sign ex-Detroit Lions DT C.J. Mosley

The Miami Dolphins announced the signing of veteran defensive tackle C.J. Mosley on Wednesday.

Mosley, who turns 32 this summer, has been in the NFL for 10 seasons. Originally a sixth-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings, the D-tackle has also spent seasons with the New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, Jacksonville Jaguars and, most recently, the Detroit Lions.

There was some speculation last week that a reunion with the Lions was still possible, but the Dolphins swooped in instead. Mosley is an experienced reserve with 129 games played (yet only 31 career starts). He has 188 tackles and 14.0 sacks to his name.
