Josh Gordy signs tender to stay in Indianapolis

Published Apr. 15, 2013 1:13 p.m. ET

Cornerback Josh Gordy has re-signed with the Indianapolis Colts.

The third-year player was an exclusive rights free agent. Indy made a trade for Gordy last August and he finished the season with 15 tackles and his first career sack. He also had three interceptions as a rookie for the Rams.

It's been a busy offseason for the Colts, who have signed 10 unrestricted free agents from other teams and a few of their own free agents, such as cornerback Darius Butler and defensive tackle Fili Moala. Gordy and defensive tackle Martin Tevaseu also have signed their exclusive rights tenders with the Colts, and earlier this month, punter Pat McAfee signed his franchise tender with Indy.
