Yasiel Puig says 'I'm sorry' in 'MLB 15 The Show' promo

Published Mar. 30, 2015 11:00 a.m. ET

It's not all fun and games for 'MLB 15 The Show' cover boy Yasiel Puig. In this promo for the video game, things get personal as he talks about how hard it was leaving his family and friends behind in Cuba. He also explains why he plays the game the way he does — including those bat flips — going so far as to say "I'm sorry" for his perceived offenses. Perhaps the fact that his apology is in English while the rest of his interview is in Spanish adds to the sincerity?

Speaking of bat flips, Dodger announcer Charlie Steiner thinks the flip is already in mid-season form after watching Puig deliver one following a monstrous home run last week.

Perhaps Puig should apologize for this very casual throw he made yesterday in which he missed the cutoff man.
