Tigers option LHP Furbush, call up INF Worth

The Detroit Tigers optioned struggling left-hander Charlie Furbush to Triple-A Toledo on Sunday and recalled infielder Danny Worth.

Worth hit .248 with five home runs and 13 RBIs for the Mudhens.

Furbush (1-3) was the loser in a 13-6 loss to Kansas City on Saturday night, going just 2 2-3 innings.
